Blackclough Farmhouse
Blackclough farmhouse has fitted carpets in all rooms except the dining room and kitchen which have wooden/lino floors. There is a wood burning stove in the living room an open fire in the dining room and a plentiful supply of logs and coal.
The kitchen is newly equipped with fitted units, dishwasher, electric hob and ovens, microwave, fridge/freezer and saucepans and crockery suitable for larger groups. The water is filtered, from a local spring, as is . Buxton Water!
The house has two large bedrooms, one with a double bed and single futon, the other with three single beds. The double bed settee in the living room provides additional sleeping accommodation.
There is a bathroom with bath, shower and WC upstairs and another shower and WC downstairs. There is no washing machine.
There is a colour television, video, stereo system, and a pay phone in the house (01298 78461). Not all mobiles have a good signal.
The rent includes the provision of electricity, coal and logs, and the use of bed linen and towels in the two bedrooms. There are no extra charges beyond the use of the payphone.
