| Blackclough is a property situated in a remote location with panoramic views of the Dane Valley in the Peak District National Park. The farmhouse accomodates 5-6 people or can be combined with the converted barn to accomodate 12-15. Both Farmhouse and Barn are furnished to a high standard whilst retaining the warmth and character of the region's farming and mining heritage. They are linked internally such that together they can provide plenty of space and comfort for a large group. Blackclough is ideally situated for walking with numerous public footpaths nearby leading to recreational resources such as the Goyt Valley, the climbing area of The Roaches and The Cat & Fiddle Inn (second highest in England). Blackclough is the closest dwelling to the Three Shires Head, is two miles from Flash (highest village in England) and four miles from the town of Buxton. The property is fed by the same spring water that feeds the nearby Penny Holes. The water (now electrically filtered) was once journeyed to from far for its curative properties. |
